card sent 7/14/04
Thanks. Michal
You do agree on one thing
HarvyDonald,
you do agree that moving the extension processing on non-immigrant visas for whatever reason is going to free up resources for green card and citizenship applications? Right?
Michal.
Some of you already know that I am a troublemaker by believing that this democracy even in its inefficiency still has room for change by people involvement (www.congress.org).
My faith grew a little bit stronger when I heard the news that processing of non-immigrant visa extensions is going...
If I remember right.
Congratulations!!
If I remember right : - ) we have exchanged some thought not too long ago.
Enjoy, life is more abundant than US immigration suggests.
Michal.
I guess I am not invited but congrats anyway!
Long GC congratulations! Hopefully this long experience will not totally destroy your belief in justice and relative efficiency of the US democracy. May be one day you will tell your children that there is no greater country than this.
Enjoy! Michal.
ID Answer
US Immigrant,
I did not have to show any ID. To the security officer at the door I showed my approval notice and to the lady at the window I showed only the items listed by the approval notice.
I had all my previous advance parole documents and work authorization documents with...
Irony
ADDTX you know what the irony is? I never sent those personal letters out because I got approved before I had all of them assembled.
To the undecided that still think doing something at a personal level might help the others further back the line I say go for it! I strongly recommend...
Hope
485 FL I am writting because I want to share what I found after writting to congressmen, after talking to my american friends after spending hours upon hours on the internet trying to find the truth about why this process is slow. I am reporting what I found. You might disagree with me but...
michal
Have not the processing dates changed already? For six months they've been doing backflips. What has changed? The only thing I know is people have started to write and complain constructively, rather then destructively didn't they South Texas?
Michal.

All right I admit my message was very enigmatic, hard to figure out.
Yes my green card was approved madpar long gc +others and yes I am "fortunate" as a 2002 filer.
I still remember how difficult and painful it was just a month ago to wait and wait.
The core of my thinking...
Dear fellow immigrants,
any of you with employment-based GCs had problems because of changing jobs too fast after GC stamp?
Do they even look at this history when the time for naturalization comes?
Thanks. Michal.
To those who criticise this country: seems critical denominator is one, no understanding of how slow democratic process is. Add human nature to the sack and you have US immigration policy. Why is Canada's immigration policy more open? Historically it is different. The best place to start change...
Dear forum visitors,
Memphis is running as smooth as Texas Service Center if not smoother.
I had to wait about an hour to get to the window but the actual stamping did not take more than 5 minutes.
I needed only the passport, I-94 and photos, and the coutesy copy of the approval notice.
To...
Update
That was my first FP Prince,
I am not EB1 nor NIW goastros just a stinking EB3 chemist,
: - )
And I am not from Poland but I am a EUCITIZEN, too, my Polish brothers.
Who in Texas are we going to thank? There must be one or a group of individuals that are doing an...
My imaginary and at the same time not so imaginary friends,
RD 6/02
FP 4/04
AD 5/26
NO RFE
I have been approved. In my opinion TSC is performing a miracle.
I have prayed like many of you sometimes with fear of this being an affront to God. I can not believe how the processing is...
Yesterday there was a message from a member who did his stamping in Memphis. The wait for plastic card mentioned was 9-10 months. Can this be right? Is this the wait time at other centers also? I thought the wait should be no more than a few weeks.
Michal.
Hello,
friends since we all love this site and have gained much from it, why don't we create another section where we can stay in touch and for example share information about job openings etc.?
Yes, I am acting in self mode, because I am looking for a job but in any case I think this...
may be some of the cases are EB1
May be some of the approved 2002 and 2003 are EB1. If that is the case, I do not mind. If they are EB3 then I do mind. I stump my foot and shout: "you bloody TSC!" and then I feel better.
Sometime I write to:
www.congress.org
