I suspect your mail is either lost or was sent to an incorrect address. It might got back to INS. If I were you, I would call the 800 number and verify your address, especially your lawyer's address in their system. You need to make sure the mail is sent to your lawyer's current address.

FP valid for 15 months. So yours will expire sometime in May. You need to have your lawyer reply your RFE ASAP, hopefully you will get approved bofore FP expires. Otherwise, they will re-issue you FP notice to get a 2nd FP done.

Does anybody know if the 180 days counting start from the RD of I485 or ND. For some people where RD and ND has several months apart, it does make difference. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think it all depends. In my case, it took 17 days for my lawyer to receive the RFE. Good luck.

This is the normal message after FP. I got the exact same message until RFE'ed. You do not need to worry.

Bani, You are not alone. My RFE was issued on 2/24, but no actions since then. I tried everything I could do. The good thing is, if you have to wait, you only have 20 more days to wait. Hopefully your lawyer will reply your RFE soon.

I have seen those two messages. There is nothing you need to worry about. My messages used to be like: 'the fingerprints for your I485 Application............were collected and are pending review.' for almost a year before I got an RFE.

I got my 4th EAD approval notice in the mail yesterday. RD 2/11/04. But there is no EAD card in the envelop. Only the approval letter. Has anyone in this situation before?
