    Depends where passport was issued If passport was issued in India it can take 45 days before the local consulate office issues PCC. If you renewed your passport in US or Canada then you can expect it in 1-3 days.

    Confused with no option?

    Wait it out If required get another job on the side. You will gain nothing by fighting with the company. Wait for three months and then leave. Make sure you keep active communication and try to help them find you work. That way you will be clean during citizenship.

    PCC from Indian consulate fine NVC took about 6 weeks in my case before verbal confirmation of interview and the P4 came in 8 weeks.
