Please count me in. I have not received reciept notices yet. Called immi officer. She did not find record in their system for my 485/ead/ap filing. Attorney says that the checks he wrote have not been cashed yet. Really worried as I continue to wait for receipt notices.
Hi all,
My attorney has filed I-485/EAD/AP by regular mail (USPS) on Jun 11, 2007 at Nebraska Service Center (PO box address). My 140 was approved by NSC in Oct 2006 (PD = Apr 24, 2003). I called USCIS customer service on July 3, 2007 and the immigrtion officer told me that they have no record...
My I-485, I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (AP) have been mailed to USCIS NSC on June 11, 2007 via overnight delivery service. I haven’t received receipt notices for any of them so far. How long is it taking nowadays to receive the receipt notices? My I-140 was approved by NSC in Oct 2006.
Thanks!
Does only the attorney receive the I-140 approval notice?
Does the employer receive a courtesy copy of the I-140 approval notice from USCIS?
Can anybody kindly answer? Thanks!
After one gets the prevailing wage determination, the minimum time in which one can file PERM is 61 days. (30 days recruitment + 30 day "quiet" period after which PERM can be filed on the 61st day)
At the PERM stage, BS+5 = MS+0 can cause a problem because of difference in SVP Levels. See the PERM denial below in Murthy forums based on answer to question H-12:

However, USCIS has its own standard of equivalence (different from that of DOL) since they either require a...
I feel the $1000 for premium processing is money well spent. At least, a quick approval gives some peace of mind instead of having to painfully wait for several months in uncertainty.
