I think its better to do that because there is a 1 and half yr difference between both priority dates and there are lots of EB2 cases filed in 2006 and all of them are in 485 stage. So its better if you can use ur 2005 priority date.
How did u get ur 7th year extension? At that time u didn't file for 140 or 485 but still applied for 7th yr extension and got it approved. For 8th year also its the same.. just apply the extension at least 2 days before it expires and u will be fine.

Yes atleast resumes must be reviewed and decide whether its worth an interview. When you file the Recruitment report you have to justify why the person was not interviewed or if the person was interviewed why the person was rejected. Basically, it must be documented.

To my understanding as long as you are in a similar position it is ok. It means that if you are a programmer, it doesn't matter which tools you use as long as you are still a programmer. You have to be in the same DOL's O*net code.

Yes if the priority date for I 485 is current then u can file for I 485 even though ur I 140 is pending. You just have to submit ur I 140 receipt

My priority date is Feb 05 2003 and my labor is still not approved. I guess now once my Labor is approved i can file for 140 and 485 at the same time.
