You are fine. I had about 9 or 10 back to back trips of about 2 to 3 months each. Carry all your tax papers and other evidence to demonstrate ties to this country during that period. i.e, Rental, mortgage, bank statements etc.

I am not sure if an early FP will get you an earlier interview. But it feels good to know that you have taken another step ahead.

No, they do not care about the tax return amount. Collect all documents that show that you have lived in the area for the time duration needed (> 3 months in the district) and you meet the residency requirements.

There is nothing wrong with being nervous. We all do get nervous and it is in fact a good sign, that will make you prepare better. Just make sure that your physical presentation is neat and clean. Plan your travel time so you will not be late for the interview. Make a list of all the documents...
