Anybody anyhelp on this issue: I found that he will be needing B1 Visa but since his hospital is not sponsoring him, can I sponsor him. If not then he need to show by himself that he can bear charges of his trip. Thanks Naveen

Yes, he is a doctor but not coming for USMLE. He is just coming to do his observership. I know he needs either B1 or B2 but I am not sure which one to apply. As B1 is for business purpose and B2 for pleasure. Chances of B2 getting rejected is more as he is doctor so I am thinking of applying...

My brother got approval for medical surgery observership in USA but they are not sponsoring his Visa. Does anybody knows what type of Visa he will be needing to come here on Observership. Do I need to sponsor it as they are not sponsoring it. Sorry for asking it at wrong forum.

Interesting thing happened : I was waiting for approval and suddenly I got approval letter on 7/26. Online status still shows it is under processing, I don't know why. RD : 11/28/01 ND : 12/12/01 FP : 04/24/02 AD : 07/21/03

I have same issue and I applied for AP expedite processing. Anybody any idea, how long it takes after applying for expedite processing.

Did anyone tried going to local office and got AP this year. I tried calling local office to inquire if this is possible and they said call Vermont Service center as they don't entertain any enquiry on AP at local office.

I had the same problem and my lawyer told me now its not possible to apply for AP in local office till your case is not transfeered. You have to send document saying you have emergency at India to VSC with AP receipt and they might do expedite processing. Thats what I am trying and I have not...
