No hard time at all. You should expect an interview letter within 3 weeks then 3-4 weeks after you receive this interview letter, you will have the interview which is a formality. Well it is a formality if your file is clean (never been out of status, etc ...).
Good luck!
No my message did not change ... After the interview and the approval, I start ot get different messages about the processing of my plastic card. By the way, it tooks me 45 days to get the plastic card after the interview ...

During the interview, the officier told me that everything is ok but I have to apply for a VISA for you!!!! I was surprised and asked him, which Visa, he said don't worry it is a formality, then in couple of days you should get a letter from us ... 2 weeks later I discovered (when I took an info...
I got mine in less than 3 weeks!
Don't worry, everything should be ok. The interview is a pure formality then the approval will be granted during the interview or few days later. You are almost there.

Nope, it is San Jose ... There is no clear reason but I think it is because I come from a country within the special registration program ... The officier did not say anything during the interview ...
After I did my interview on October the 27th, the officier told me that all my paperworks are ok and that he needs to apply for a Visa number and that I should hear from him within the next two weeks .... After 17 days of waiting, I have not heard anything from him, hence I took an info pass...

Go to your medical provider and ask for a copy of your medical record. Explain to them that you need it for the iNS then they will give it to you. During my interview, the officier did not ask about it but anyway, I had a copy.

Congrats!
I had my interview and the officier told me the same thing about a visa number then nothing since the 27th. Do you think that I should be worried?
TIA
My lawyer said that the officier should request a VISA number before the interview. A visa number is simply a visa like the H1-B or other but an immigration Visa but in some cases the officier is lazy or a he did not do his homework so he forget to request a number. If the I-140 approval date is...

Good luck!

Good luck!
