My original employer is from diiferent state from my current employer but they both under TSC jurisdiction.

My Lawyer is trying to transfer my case from BCIS Harlingen Local office to BCIS Houston Local office. Anybody have experience about transferring file from one local office to another ? By the way I reside in Houston but my case have been transfered by TSC to Harlingen BCIS.
For an immigration judge to hear a case, BCIS officer must issue a document called NTA (Notice to appear). this NTA is issued to a person whom BCIS believe to be removable or deportable. There are a several reason why would an NTA will be issued to a person but the usual reason is violation...
EAD plus 485 receipt notice should have been enough proof of legal status for a knowledgeable BCIS officer. But, for some inexperinece officers that is not usually case.
I understand your feeling. Mine was transfered from TSC to Harlingen, Texas. Although, I live in Houston. I guess all we can do is wait and hope something good might happen.
