I am with company A and looking to change to company B. My Green card process is going on with company A. LAC, I-140, EAD and AP all are approved. 485 will be 180 days old on 1st of April '04. Can I switch to company B without Jeopardizing my green card process. What do I need...

What about less what if my salary is 10K less then the one mentioned on EAT750

May get laid of My H1B is valid till march '04, have EAD approved last week, I0=0140 approved, filed 485 in Sept 03. May get laid of next week, which is less then 180 days of 485 pending. Do I become illegle if I stay on EAD without salary for a 1~2 month ? Do I have to wait for 180 days...

lets say on 1st april my 180 days are done for 485, and I quit the old job or get kicked out and then on 15th April I get a new job with same position , will cancle my 485 as i was without job for 15 days.

Is there a seperate EAC number for I-140 for spouse. Or is it the same as mine. Do we get a seperate approval notice for spouse???

How does the wage think match in the senario. Should the salry be the same thoughout green card procees, or is it ok if it differs after I-140 is approved.

So in either case Plan A or B, if CP is rejected then nothing will help, H1B / EAD/AP. Then how is Plan B (getting 7th year H1B) helpfull then Plan A. ?? Just curious to know. Thanks for your time

Thanks for the reply. How about Plan A. As the letter to confirm "if I want to switch to CP from AOS" takes somewhere around 1 year on filing I-824, so I can come back based on EAD/AP in May-June if my CP is rejected. right ???
