Hi this shouldn't be an issue provided you get an affidavit to support that i.e Piter and Peter are one and the same person. I also had something similar i.e My passport showed John Edwards Doe while my Certificates just showed John Doe. I hope this helps

This shouldn't be a problem. As Susie rightly puts it, as long as the names on the passport match those on the entry form. You could also prepare an affidavit just to calm your fears. All the best

@Velcan even if not selected for 2016, try again. I remember before I was selected I had applied in 2007 (misplaced my reference number) then 2009 (was not successful) and was successful in 2012 and now in DC. So it is possible
This should be an issue...my school and birth certificates had name1 name2 while my passport had name1 nam2 name3...if in doubt you can have an affidavit in which you state that they refer to one and the same person. Hope this calms you...
