Hi,
Myself and my wife are planning to travel through Amsterdam on the temporary GC stamp that we have on our passport. It is set to expire in December and we are travelling to India in Aug./Sept. from Minneapolis to New Delhi via Amsterdam and back.
In this regard, I wanted to know the...
I have the GC stamped on my passport (expiring in December, 2004) and am planning a travel to India on Northwest Airlines (Minneapolis/St. Paul -- Amsterdam -- Delhi and back). NWA has issued me an E-ticket for this travel. In this regard, I have a question for those who have traveled on...
One of the reasons could be that people in Ohio got fingerprinted a long time after filing the 485 petitions (typically 9-10 months after based on anectodal evidence from friends). This means that their FP's expire a lot later and so they don't have to go for second FP. People in other states...
From what I understand, the intent of USCIS is to rule out fraudulent marriages for GC. So even if you have genuine proof of marriage, USCIS also wants to verify that the spouses have been living together, have commingled finances etc just to ensure that the marriage was not for the purposes of...
I meant in an RFE. Apparently a genuine marriage certificate is not enough ... particularly if you have been married recent to filing an RFE or if you don't have children as proof of cohabitation.
This same question was asked to a friend of mine. In addition to the above, the lawyer also suggested the following:
1. Joint lease for an aparment (or ownership of a house)
2. Joint auto insurance
3. Joing financial documents (bank account as mentioned above, brokerage account, State and...
Silence is never golden when you are at the receiving end of an injustice ... more so in America where if you don't protest against the injustices, it continues to perpetuate.
There is an interesting article in New York Times (www.nytimes.cm) (free registration required) (if cannot probably...
First one to agree with your observations. I regretted not doing as much in one of my earlier posts. But when the argument was brought down to a lewd level, I had to protest.
Re: Sometime it gets into your nerve and
Yep ... maybe some are more educated than you.I don't understand how someone could make assumptions on education level based on posts. Based on your oxymoron, I could have surmised something on your education level too but I realized that a few...
Re: you have never seen pure ghee!
Not withstanding the oxymoron in your post above ("bug off" and get the hell out of here) , I will when you show me the papers for ownership of this forum. Until then, I have a right to respond to your personal posts and frequent the forum.

I guess this was the time when the issue about lewdness and lasciviousness should have been raised :)
Sanksrit,
From my same post post which you have selectively quoted above:
"The basic point is being lost in the extremely verbose output and large number of replies that are being generated by some members ... " This goes to the same point originally mentioned in my post.

Gheewalabhai,
You have posted 700+ posts but I am yet to find one from you that is useful or that makes any sense. Even the I-485 scans that you post are not well computed ... you just copy and paste the entire 100 line long spreadsheet instead of presenting it in a more presentable way like...
Anywhere between 1 to 3 weeks. There have been occasions where RFE has been lost or returned as well in which case it will take another 2-3 weeks to get it reissued.
Nowadays it is taking abotu 7-9 days on an average.
