I have been away Both of my friends who got their card approved by local INS in seattle. Looks like from the previous posts, it appears if you are approved by local INS then you get the card real fast otherwise long wait. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Couple of my friends who are approved in Jan got their plastic cards allready. Does any body else similar experience.

prang INS turned it around in two weeks after they received response, which was the case for most of the cases approved recently. But there are quite a few waiting with INS receiving response by Dec' 2002.

Just wait for two weeks (may be a little more) before you here an update, most likely an approval.
