I-1485 filing while I-140 pending
Hi Immigration Gurus,
Is it possible to file I-485 while I-140 is pending (not approved) if the I-485 is current?
(OR)
Is it required to get I-140 using PP and apply for I-485?
Please clarify me.

My assumption is that once PERM implemented in Atlanta and Chicago, the remaining pending cases which were received by these DOLs will be send to Backlog reduction centers. I mean, these DOLs process as many cases as they can till the PERM implementation.
Is this reason sounds OK? Any views???
