I will try to answer the questions to my best. 1) validation of I -551? ...If your passport is stamped by USCIS then of course it is a valid. 2) I-551 stamping is enough to go to India. with OR with out greed card ...If you are Indian citizen and carry Indian passport, then it does not...

Yes, I agree with everyone! I got the same answer from Netherland Embassy that Indian Citizans do not need transit visa. I am also going to India via NWA next month. I will let you know my experiences after I come back...... Thanks, Mugdha.

I agree with gchopeful2005 and sk2002sk, Lot of my friends's parents got denial as the immigration officer in the consulate suggested that the pregnant woman get lot of help from the network infrastructure in USa than in India. And they rejected their visa....on the contrary, try to show...

I was trying to consolidate the data regarding the transit visa requirements after I-551 stamp. But could not get good response. I know lot of people are still confused due to contradictory answers given by different authorities. I myself, got two different answers for Amsterdam transit visa...

I would suggest you to talk to lawyer. And still reply the RFE just like the last time. Add some more documents to make the RFE reply stronger than last time. Mugdha.

Get seperate appointments for each member.....my experience.

If possible, try to go to early for stamping. Because that is when the process of actual card starts... Mugdha.

Ask your lawyer to fax you the copy of approval. Original goes to him. My lawyer sent me copy of original ... but it was after I got my passport stamped. As I had courtesy copy already, I did not ask her to fax the copy. Mugdha.

I am sorry ibcd92, I do not know that. I believe you need a atleast courtesy copy for stamping. And that is what immigration officer asked us first after info pass. Also, my online message still says that they got the response to the RFE etc etc... It is not changed to approved status yet...
