MSC is not a normal Center like the other 4 It process mainly Asylum cases and special type of visas.

Can be two weeks or it can be a couple months. A lot of cases see action within a couple months however, there are cases where its assigned to an officer and it just sits or eventually gets sent back to the queue. There is no telling for certain. I hope for your sake its the matter of a few weeks.

Based on what I have read ... Most people get a letter in the mail within 30-45 days of transfer. The letter normally gives an appointment date within 6 months. Offcourse it is random but this is what I have seen to be the norm in the past. Good luck and I hope you get it soon.
