First thing you want to do is file a change of address with the Center your application is at.
As for getting your case transferred, I am fairly sure its not dependent on where you live rather where the company that you work for is headquartered so check on that first.
Also, if you are in...
There is a new law that went into effect July 31st 2002 that allows people in EB1, EB2, EB3 categories file I-485 (AOS) same time as they file their I-140.
Previously you had to wait for I-140 to be approved before filing I-485.
All the benefits of filing I-485 are available, that is...

Can be two weeks or it
can be a couple months. A lot of cases see action within a couple months however, there are cases where its assigned to an officer and it just sits or eventually gets sent back to the queue. There is no telling for certain. I hope for your sake its the matter of a few weeks.
I would go with only one ...
I say this not as someone with experience but just trying to think from an INS officers perspective. If you have two I-485 filed employment based then it means you truly don\'t intend to work for either job. You are just banking on one or the other to come through...

That was a long time coming
Congratulations and good luck with whatever you do next. Also, if you have not add/updated it already please add your information at www.e-nairobi.com/aos

Try the CSC forum on here as well
Try the CSC 485 Issue forum on this board. Since more of a chance to find people that were transferred to LA office in that forum. Good luck and I do hope you find the info you are looking for soon

However, as I have been saying probably for the last 2 months now TSC seesm to be processing based on FP order received back to...
