I just found that my DOB is incorrect in the social security system. I did my FP one month ago and I am assuming the FBI is running checks on my background at the moment. Now I am going to update my DOB in social security ASAP. But the question is, am I going to likely get an 485 RFE?

i doubt this is a name check issue. i think it's just the way it is from CSC. only a few lucky people get selected into pilot program. so maybe waiting is the only solution...

my 140/485 RD is 7/29/04 - EB2 con-current filing through CSC. I have not received fp notice yet. i live in chicago. does anyone has similar situation? - that live outside of california, even filed after April when the pilot started running, not be able not get their fp notice?

thanks chankuk. actually what i was implying was the fact that most people can get their fp notice in a couple of weeks after filing. it's most likely true for folks filed through CSC after april, even though some of them were not in pilot program. i was reading this post that the guy who...

actually, 140 in csc is not that bad. it's processing jan. 04 right now and 485 dates nov. 03. unless i missed something, that's all they posted on their webiste.

good job, ananya! thank god i finally know that someone else are in the same situation! yes, i have the very same question: does CSC randomly pick people into the pilot? i tried very hard to figure it out and without any luck so far...apparently, only people in INS know exactly how it works...
