Let your spouse do it If you are married, then let your spouse take the citizenship, so down the line if you want to come back you can get the GC immediately.

Hello, My brother send the original passport of my mom along with visa extension application. What happens now? How can we get the passport back? I don't want to wait until the extension process finishes, is there any number we can call and ask for the application? Please help.

Other than running for office, I don't think anybody in india cares about our citizenship status, unless some new rules of ID are in place Does anybody know how much time exactly takes to get GC/UCS on spouse UCS status? Any link to the tracking dates is greatly helpful!
