Doubtful It is doubltful that they will reject all the people applying for extension. I think most people get it stamped without any problem. But some people with some complications can get rejected.

Lack of ducument Looks like your friend got denied because of the lack of the qualifications. What field is he planning to work for ? if it is something like other skilled workers category then he can still get it.

Depends upon hoe much reduction in salary I think it depends upon how much salary reduction took place. Jaxen will have a better knowledge than me.

Pay cut I had the same problem. My pay was substantially cut for a couple of months and my company filed hourly H1B amendment for me. I don't know for sure how it works but I heard that you can still work on the old one unless there is substantial pay cut.

Again me they don't want to file it again because hourly works for them even when I am working full time. and they have to file one again next year as my H1B expires Oct 16 2003.
