I sent the email below to 'ciso@dhs.gov' with the full WAC numbers. i dont know if it helped or not. it may be coincidental that I recd an approval two weeks later, best i can think is they forwarded the application numbers to INS and that caused the application to get pulled...
when i changed jobs, i think the lawyer filed something with the change of representation papers. so i'm pretty they know i'm not with the original petitioning employer.
but i dont think they are checking or perhaps the are back to the old sample checking from pre-9/11.

I went there and it took 10 minute, my wife went and it took 2hrs. i think they schedule appointments on certain days only, so if you avoid those days it is really quick otherwise you just have to wait...

as quick as it could be really. no lines no waiting. all in took about 15mins
I took the notice and my passport, they asked me why I was using the SanJose center (My appointment was for SFO) and I said that I work nearby (which I do) and that was golden...

I just recd my 2nd FP notice for Jan 16th. The website didn't update very quickly. so if you are going abroad. you need to be careful about checking every couple of days.

not too painful. I went last week, took around 4 fours
key points,
the entrance is from washington st. parking is free until 9 then it is 25c for 10mins ($1.50 per hour)
1. make sure you have proof of address with you. drivers license is fine if it has the same address...
My understanding is that your salary must be at least the rate mentioned in the labor certification doc. if it is below there is certainly grounds for the application to be turned down.
if you change jobs make sure you at least match the labor cert salary, and have a similar/same job...
I was told to take my AP, passport and EAD. in the event the INS only looked at the AP and passort. it was very quick.
I went through the US residents line (very quick) and was then sent to the INS room. you dont need to wait in the non-us resident line which is usually very very long at sfo.
