Here is what i feel after looking at the recent approval trend. If you had done your 2nd FP earlier than the scheduled date then your 485 approval is delayed. This is just my thought. My ND is oct 3rd and i did my 2nd FP on April 28th 1 month ahead of the scheduled date still no updates...

Looks like for those who did their FP end of april/may 1st week nothing has changed. Let us keep this thread active so when ever one of us find a change in our status let us post it here so that we would get some information out of it.

OhioApp: I applied for my 2nd EAD on Nov 2003. I am getting ready to apply for my 3rd EAD in a month. I hope EAD application should trigger the Approval/RFE for our 485. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

i did my 2nd Fp on April 29th and still no RFE/Approval yet. My 485 RND is Oct3rd 2002. I guess they have not touched our cases yet. I have not moved during my 485 process till now.

ask u r daughter to come back using H4 and then take her AP with her, when she returns back to INDIA. By doing so the next time when she returns to US she can come back using her AP. Your lawyer is correct.

i did my 2nd FP in april 28th 2004 and still waiting. Looks like they have not started processing april FP cases yet, but we cpuld see approvals for June/July FP cases. My ND is oct3rd 2004.

I do not think early FP is a problem. In this forum there are lots of people who have done early FP from various city/states and they did not have any problems. with 1 case we cannot decide that early FP will cause problems/delay it by a couple of months. I think there are no problmes. Cheers

if you have a valid visa stamp in your passport then you do not need transit visa. (i mean valid h1/h4 etc) . at port of enrty in USA show both your h1/h4 and valid AP to the immigration office. hope this helps.

2nd Fp i did an early FP in houston tx. no questions asked. I did it 30 days before the scheduled appointment.
