I am pretty much sure Boston DOL is not any faster then before. It is just about state where this case is coming from. CT is state with low number of cases and that's why it is so fast. There is separate row(clerk) for every state, even it is on federal level.

LCSilence, I have similar problem but I thought that you need to be in pending status for I485 before you can change the employer but you need to have I140 approved. Are you sure that having EAD is enough to change employer ? Thanks, Pedja
