I recd APs without VSC embossed stamp. Recently, I received AP without VSC embossed stamp (on right bottom corner). It only has a signature stamp of an officer above my picture which is "printed". Is this normal?

Talked to IIO. Says will take 2-3 months for Aug ND cases. Did anyone had similar reply?

It is in blocks of 8 weeks When cases are assigned to an officer, they are given as packets of say 100 applications. All depends on where in the stack is your application. The typical window is 8 weeks for one such stack. That is why we see lot of variations in ADs.

I am there too. Last time I called IIO she told it is ND that matters. My RD is Mid July but ND is end Aug.

Down load form from any of the immigration web sites All detail info in the form. Make sure you check the renewal box if renewing already approved card. It takes 60-90 days so better hurry up.

Guys, be realistic! As soon as you guys hear GC approval on AVM, you will start mortgage calculations for house & new cars. Start talking about which school district is good for elementary or middle school! Am I right?

Average 12 months from RD Typically 12 months. You may get early because there are less applicants after Aug 2001.

Same here! July 15 RD but not assigned yet! There is a lot of inconsistency at VSC processing. They are approving Aug RD and for July RD they are saying it is the ND that counts, not RD.

Same situation but EAD not yet expired.  

My EAD expires in July 02. I have applied for renewal. What if I don\'t receive new before the expiry date? Can I continue to work? BTW, My original H1 with my employer is still open till Mar 2003 though I am working on EAD with sponsoring employer.
