AC-140 possible if 140 was approved for CP. U can go for AC-140 even if 140 was approved for CP. Just need a 824 receipt. This is what I know of sure for New delhi consulate. SI

AC -140 is also for CP..... It is the general perception that AC-140 is only for ppl who mentioned AOS during 140 approval and then want to switch to CP. New Delhi accepts AC -140 for ppl who mentioned CP during 140 approval. U have to enclose the 824 receipt however...... SI
