cinci2002 and zero I did get an RFE for Employment. INS recd it on 12/24. Looks like they are taking 2 months from the dt they receive the RFE for approval. Couple of my friends had the exact same timing. I did speak to IIO and was told it was assigned to an officer about a month back...

Is there anybody out there with RD Aug 22 still waiting for approval ? INS recd my RFE for Employment on Dec 24 2002 and it is more than 2 months now. When I called IIO said it is assigned to an officer, this was like 1 month back. I have no idea what is going on ? Anybody in the same boat...

Still Waiting !! NSC received my RFE response for Employment on Dec 24'2002. Called IIO and got the reply that it is with the officer. Not sure when it will be approved !!

Order of processing ! What the hell is the order of processing 485. Is it based on a pack of cards ?????????????? Crazy INS Nebraska. My RD is Aug 2001 and looks like people from Oct are getting approved. Maybe we have to pay money to get our apps approved... !!!!!! this totally sux :mad:

You are right ! Looks like the Aug 22 cases are jinxed !! I dont know what the hell is wrong with that date .. RD : 8/22/01 Waiting !!!!

I spoke to IIO today and she said that they are not processing any new 485 applications till they clear the backlog of 485. Also she mentioned that the first priority is EAD and that they are processing June ND cases. This totally sucks since my case has been pending for 465 days now ...

How long did it take to get the receipt notice ? I applied about 2 weeks back for my EAD renewal and I have'nt recd the receipt notice yet. My attorney says it will take 5 weeks. Is this true. Also how long does it take to get the EAD Card ??? Thanks
