Passports stamped
Dear friends,
Thank you all for your support and warm congratulations!
Yesterday we went to Boston and stamped our passports.
It took mere 30 minutes for the whole procedure - we entered JFK building at about 9am and left it about 9:30. There was no line to enter the...
I just received the approval letters for myself and all members of my family :)
Today (06/15/2005) is exactly 1001 day since our RD (09/18/2001)!
The approval date is 06/09/2004, so it actually took a little bit less (995 days).

Did you try to call your local congressman ?
I have called and received a great help from them. If nothing happens diuring the next few weeks I am going to call again and ask them to "nudge" USCIS.
If congressman alternative does...
I guess it makes 3 of us!
I made a telephone inquiry about the status of my FBI name check at May 5th. At May 20th I got the call from FBI. The lady told me that my name check was JUST CLEARED :p and that they will inform INS (she used name "INS" instead of "USCIS" just like in IsGCTheKey...
I called this number a week ago. There is an answering machine that asks you for your name, date of birth, A# number, and telephone. It also promised that someone will call you back and tell you the status.
Nobody called me yet.

My Interview was postponed from January to April 2003. INS wrote in their letter "due to the conflict in our schedule your interview was rescheduled..."
BTW I did not get the GC approval by now, though it is already more than I year after the interview :(
