As long as you lost your job, are you legally out of TN1 status, and must leave USA? If so, how can you apply for UI here? If you have change to EAD, you can stay legally. But since you've changed your status, are you not eligible for UI for TN1. I am confused. Thanks for the reply.

Nebraska Service Center Nebraska Service Center. I did get my EAD at the end of July. Receipt Notice is April 30. Orinally it said 60-90 days, then it changed to 90-120 days. I j heard that it had changed to 120-150 days today. It's crazy.

In fact, I'm not worried about when she can get ui or not (she has some friends with TN or h1B receiving ui, that is why she did that). I'm worried what she did may eventually lead to INS find out she is out of status.
