No Title Tough question. Stick with the lawyer that was recommended to you by a trusted friend with a similar case. If you don\'t have such one, go for a famous attorney. My own research and common sense yielded bad choices. Twice... I considered myself a good researcher, but... :o(- ooa

No Title You are not filing them *together*, so answer "NO". Filing a petition "WITH this one" means, probably, cases like filing I-130+I-485 in some family cases, or one can imagine other special situations where you *need* your petitions to be considered as one packet.- ooa

No Title You have to provide information about your previous petition in the right corner at the bottom of I-140. So they will know. The question is whether they will care... You may get approved, but who knows...- ooa

Guys please help...........
No Title You have to write separate checks for you and your wife for I-485, I-765 (EAD), I-131 (AP, if needed), and for fingerprinting. So there will be up to 8 checks for 2 people enclosed to the file. Good luck- ooa

No Title I don\'t know the answer, but... Do you really need to amend? If you have your mail forwarded to the new address, this should be enough. As for salary and additional material - save this info for possible RFE; it\'s good to have something in reserve.- ooa

No Title Happybird, The appeal can take you 2 years! Do not waste your time, or at least file another petition in the meantime (NIW and/or EB1-EA), better argued and may be with the help of a good lawyer. ooa- ooa

No Title It is definitely worthwile to respond RFE. Most people get RFE, and most get approved after responding. You can correct all the mistakes of initial petition and get the decision quickly. As for appeals it seems that the major problem with them is that they are so-o slow, you can get...- ooa
