Congratulations to the guys who got approved! The FP notices that seemed to get lost in limbo are also very encouraging I guess.
I noticed several cases when the EAD card wouldn\'t arrive within a reasonable timeframe, but not sure what would that mean. You\'re not...

Bringing this thread up with a new summary..
chen_ying20: the next step after the fingerprinting is adjudication.. Some people call up FBI and INS to make sure their fingerprints came out OK. Some other people do nothing and get their approvals one beautiful day.. I tried...

Sorry for a period of silence, I was busy doing the passport stamping and partying ;-)
The stamping day started pretty bad, I got a wrong direction from Yahoo for the Monterey Rd. INS office and as a result, came there at 5am instead of 4am. About 70 people stood ahead of...

Added my own approval and couple of updates since last summary was out. My category was EB2, although I don\'t think it mattered.
BTW, I also got the "hard" approval notices in mail on 11/20. Will go for stamping some time next week. It\'s been a damn while...
Age out case is ...
when your dependant turns the age 21 some time soon and thus stops being your dependant. My understanding is that there\'s no regulation in such cases and INS is trying to avoid them..
Thank you all for your kind words. I hope we should be able to finish this list up very...

Updates since last summary.. We\'ve got one more approval, congratulations, Nikhil! I remember you from the very beginning of this thread and your approval really makes me feel good! I, too, did fingerprinting today, 10 days early.

Finally Kakinada "the Veteran" got his FP notice.. Probably Seattle is the least fortunate area from the INS point of view ;-)

What surprizes me is that people keep on adding to this list.. At first, I thought there weren\'t many April filers and look at this 87 people list now!
Looks like EAD processing is in trouble now. Approved on the AVM don\'t get their cards for several weeks. This didn\'t...

Keeping this thread alive.. Added a couple more folks and updates since 10/22..
Still no progress on FP in the "unfortunate" SFO and SJ areas.. I wonder in what regard the "old" INS system was worse than this "new" one.. The old system...

Added a couple of folks, updated EAD and FP information.. Thanks everybody for sharing your info. Looks like some new FP notices started coming?
Summary as of 10/17
A very interesting fact: Hope Alive got approved BEFORE his fingerprint scheduled date.. Which means, GO DO THE FINGERPRINTS AS EARLY AS YOU CAN!! If you have got the notice, of course (sigh)..
And thank you friends for all your good wishes, I appreciate it..
