I got my passport stamped on 2/5/04 at Charlotte, NC. I was surprised being told that it will take upto 18 months for me to get my physical card. I noticed that a lots of folks got their cards within 2 or 3 months. A new schewed homeland security process? Another long wait? YK

Additional Info I got my passport stamped 2/5/04. I arrived there at 8:30 due to traffic. There was a big traffic jam if you go I85 South and merge to I77. I got my token and waited 3.5 hours for my turn. Had lunch after that and went back the the office to take the stamped passport. We...

Back from Charlotte sub Office Arrived at 6:15am, there were about 30 people before me. Got in at 8:00am. They did not do emergent AP unless you filed your case at Charlotte. Emergent AP can only be obtained from the center where you filed your I-485. Have to do it again with TSC through...

My wife's and mine AP have been in pending status for more than 3 months (Notice date 3/14). However, my father-in-law is very sick now, and we've got to head back. Any idea how long will it take to get the approval? Can we get something like interim AP? Thanks for kind suggestions...

Good question I did FP in Raleigh, Wake county's DDBI as well on Jan. 14. I checked online status, nothing changed. I called INC TSC, they did not see the FP received. I called the DDBI, they said they sent it to INS. Need to find out what is going on. Thanks. Yellow Knight

Early FP is easy I did it without any appointment. I went to the designated place and showed them the FP notice. No question asked. I hope early FP could speed up the process, but only god knows:-( Thanks. Yellow Knight
