my sister's immigration visa has been approved and her family has came to US.
But she needs to leave before receiving the GC, she has the I-551 stamp on her passport, can she re-enter US without the GC? will the I-551 stamp be valid for re-entering?

thanks for the response. She was thinking student visa or traveller visa, she mentioned that they would giver her a paper or document when she entered the States and was worried that she won't have that paper now.
