Thanks for the reply You would think that USCIS would mention this is in their instructions to file I- 131 . Currently it just says if you have filed I-485 after July 2007 you need not pay the filing fee. So misleading

My I-485 was filed on Aug 15 2007 and is still pending with USICS. I have receipt confirming the date and showing an amount of $395 paid to USCIS. An original I-131 was filed along with the I-485 and was approved. Since then I had to extend my I-131 once before ( company did it then). Now I...
