Do you absolutely need the second NL to go to the visa interview? Or can you just call KCC and find out about your interview date? Also, once the visa is issued, how long do you have before you must enter the US and activate it?

I just talked to another studio--they said they could take a picture using a regular camera, develop the film and the crop the picture so that it's 2 by 2. I am, however, not sure this is what the KCC wants--can anyone confirm whether or not polaroid pictures would be OK?
