    Hartford CT - N-400 Timeline

Did your husband not join you at your interview? If so, he could have signed it then and there as was done in my situation. The interview officer also called me two days before the interview to bring tax transcripts or copies of our tax returns for the past three years. We did the latter. We...

I-130 for Mother with lucrative business overseas

Yes the business is legitimate and a legal business. She owns a multinational franchise. I believe the main benefit for her to obtain a green card would be to obtain green cards for her other three children. How long would that process take or should I just petition my siblings myself?

I-130 for Mother with lucrative business overseas

Hi. I am considering filing an I-130 for my mother in the Philippines. She has a multiple entry US Visa, so she has no issues coming in and out of the United States. Is it worth filing a I-130 for her still? My concern is her businesses overseas and any US tax implications that might result...

    Hartford CT - N-400 Timeline

Hey san1. It went well. I made two errors on my N-400 application, but the officer was really nice about it. I guess I got lucky. I was asked to write and say a sentence about Abraham Lincoln and my six questions were the standard six questions you'll read about in people's blogs. The...

    2010 June N-400 tracker

Hey san1. Yeah that event happened almost 1.5 months after my original scheduled FP date (I walked in also which doesn't seem to matter to Hartford) and seems to be the norm for Hartford filers.

    Hartford CT - N-400 Timeline

Thanks san1. I am actually tracking for my wife, which is only 3 years. We applied 90 days prior to her 3 year anniversary which is allowable by USCIS. Her interview is approximately 3 years and 1 month after her GC date.

    2010 June N-400 tracker

Hey san1, I have some advice for you: "Relax, otherwise it is going to feel like eternity for you." Hartford, CT is probably one of the slowest (if not the slowest) DOs in the country. I finally received my IL today after filing 3 months ago. However, if you use the online tracker and compare...

FP walk in done today. Told the officer that I had a class that conflicted with my scheduled date. He was gracious enough to let me through. 50 minutes from walk in to walk out (brought backup - which he didn't bother to verify). @ April Filers: Please update your signature with your DO -...

What is your district office? Once you find out your district office, then search the forums to calculate the average time it took for people in your district to receive their FP letter. My case is also not available online, but based on the average time it takes for people in my district...

Thanks for that info VYLE. In a perfect world, my interview would be scheduled for a first Friday in Hartford and the officer will approve me and offer my oath date to be that same day.

Did you try showing evidence of a conflict on your scheduled date (i.e. an airline reservation on the 25th of May)?

Use the NBC$ number at the bottom of your letter (not the one on top), but replace the "$" with "*"

I tried all the variations "000" "OOO" and it doesn't work for me either. I'm banking on Lynn's explanation, which means that it should be up any day now.
