Question though... NVC finally completed my IV petition for my wife... The case was completed in May 6. Will the notice they will send me indicate as to when my wife should go for her medical exams? Or can she do this now even we have not received the inteview...
just this week i received a notice letter from USCIS that they alreayd forwarded my approved I130 petition to NVC for consular processing...
how long does it usually take NVC to give me a case number? and will i receive anything from them or will they just send something directly to my wife...

2. 2x2 pictures of me and wife
3. copy of my GC
4. the biographic data form for both of us
5. birth certificate for both of us
6. marriage certificate
7. her I-94 card (when i filed her I-130, she was here at the time...)

filing early for the I-130 wont hurt.. in fact, it will at least shorten the process... and who knows when they will have another fee increase...
once your husband becomes a USC, you can just call USCIS and tell them to upgrade your petition to married to a USC... you'll be surprised that...
