I understand your SSN does not change after you update SSA about your citizenship status change. But do u get a new SS Card in mail without your restriction on?

Don't you think it could be a issue if he/she is selected for juty duties etc.? How does the person know in this case?

To be on the safe side send it 1 week after the start of your 90 days period. I mean thats my suggestions.

I think u guys are correct. I checked my online status few days after I had sent the application and it showed the status. Then recently I just happened to check the online status again after the interview and noticed the error.Probably the status already changed to error just after the sent...

Thanks warlord for your quick reply. In my case it was showing a messgae like application was received and being processed. I was just wondering why now it is giving error while it showed status fine before the interview.

So post office can't do expedite passports? To do the expedite passports do we need to go to passport agency?
