No Title I also spoke with a couple of IIO over the last few weeks. One IIO gave an answer similar to ddct response. Another IIO said I had to wait till Feb/Mar. I think all of our files are clogged by a slow paced officer. And I hope that the file are not lost.

No Title I had this same problem. INS asked me to change my category to EB3 as I was BS+5 and in my labour it did not mention MS. But my attorney replied to RFE quoting a section in INA ( I dont remember the exact words) explaining INS to approve my case in EB2. And it was finally approved...
