    Hi, I have got my approval notice. It asks me to go to OKlahoma for stamping, since that is my lawyer address and I had given that as the only contact address to INS. Since I am in NJ can I go to Newark and get my passport stamped? Any one has experience? Any help is very much appreciated...

    No Title Well in my case, Spouse finger print was OK and INS says the case is pending for both my spouse and kid(who did not have to do finger printing). Thanks

    Friends, I just found out that my 485 was approved on 04/06. My spouse and my kid is yet to be approved. Anybody in that scenario? Does it happen like this? My Details PD Nov 1997 RD AUg 1999 ND Sep 1999. RFE received by INS on 03/02. Country India EB2? ( upgraded from EB3 to EB2)...

    No Title Hi Kipps, I just talked to INS and they said the same thing for me. In my Case I filled 485 first in EB3 and then I put in my amended EB2 I140. I expected it to be approved in EB2. They now say it is waiting for visa availability. I now leave it to the guy above.

    No Title Hi PrinceofPersia I had originally filed in EB3 category. I then got I140 and labor done in EB2 and put in my new EB2 I140 for my 485. Hope that helps you. Thanks all

    No Title Hi All, Thanks for all your inputs. In my case I have been always with one company. Most of the people who get the approval within 3 weeks seem to come from other countries. Most from India seem to wait for more than 2 months for a decision. Please correct me if I am wrong...
