This morning we stamped our passports for me and my wife at Newark Absolutely painless procedure . Got in line at 7:30 am and was out by 9:00 am . There are three entrances to the building . Front / side and behind . People with 485 approval notice need to use the one behind the building .

No Title I spoke to IIO last week and they said that once FP results are received it will take a few weeks to assign the case to an officer again and then it purely depends on how long the officer takes . She clearly said that processing times can greatly vary between officer to officer.

No Title While I cannot provide you with any solution to the problem all I can say is that it should have nothing to do with the FP . They do not check your I 94 during the FP process . Only valid ID such a drivers license and EAD if you have one . And then later when the approval cones...

No Title Sounds like you did not receive receipt notice for 485 . The notice comes to the lawyer but he is obliged to send you a copy . In either case you can call up VSC and give them your name and SSN and they will tell you your status . I have tried it .
