I need advise from people who have applied for re-entry permit in the past.
How did you document the reasons for applying for a re-entry permit? Did you write up a separate sheet and then provide supporting documentation like an "official letter" ?
My proposed reasons go something like...
Just a hypothetical question. If an GC immigrant becomes so broke that he/she becomes homeless, how do they fill out the form AR-11 to notigy change of address? If a person chaneges residence to no address, how does one proceed in this case to fill AR-11?
A friend has been a permanent resident for 1.5 years. He was laid off a year ago and still not got a job. SO he has been unemployed for a year. Do you think this might cause a problem in the GC status or later application for citizenship?
I was watching FOX news just now and seems like INS/DOJ is making a big deal about the address change.
It seems INS is coming down harshly much more these days.
My uncle has been a PR for 25 years and recently decided to apply for citizenship. He has travelled extensively abroad and does not have records for all his trips. How does this affect the citizenship and what relief can the INS provide for these records?
Folks,
I went to the National Guard office today and they accepted my application even though I have a Green Card. I am joining the card for personal growth reasons. Will the service in the guard help me towards the citizenship application? Anyone share their thoughts?
