minn_labor I am in the exact same situation. I have changed employers but did not inform USCIS and got GC approved now. I also have a letter from current employer stating that my job duties are the same as my original GC sponsoring employer but I have just not sent the letter to USCIS.

I am in the same situation. Got bimetrics a few weeks back for June 27th and got welcome email on JUne 25th. The last I had got biometrics 3 done was April 2006. Any idea as to what is going on. I have just got the welcome email no cards ordered email yet.

Then what is the difference between welcome notice and I485 approval notice and why do some people get welcome notice and some get I485 approval. Is it that some additional processing is remaining for people who only receive welcome notice. Experienced GURUS Please clarify!!!!!!!!
