I am counting days from 9/22/03 to 9/22/08. Hence 922 days
If i apply 10/22 Oct it will be 922 - 30:
will be less than 892 days.
So i am in clear.

i counted from 9/22/2003 to 9/22/2008:
(because i was out for 5 months from 9/22/2003..., hence, hence couldn't count the start from 10/22/2003)

Check Cash date: 7/16/7
We mailed both our applications in one cover and both the checks were cashed on the same date.
I am still waiting for receipt. But, How/when one does know if the case was approved or not?

We sent both the applications in one envelope but with 2 separate checks with individual A#'s on it.
But put the check and photo's in small envelope attached to each application for clarity.
Well, i did talk to one. He said it "could" but i did the right thing by correcting it and re-filing the tax returns.
He said i might be better off mentioning it as footnote.

Just to let Mario know, the question was about STATE taxes. I have been filing Federal as Resident while i was abroad, & was visiting U.S often every year, inspite of having both N-470 and Re-Entry permit. Even my Expat Tax Accountant told me that STATE tax were not required...
