    After getting GC

    The initial Passport stamp is valid for one year and you physical card is valid for 10 years. After 5yr of recidency one is eligible for Citizenship. (check the complete rule on the USCIS website) GC7075

    It might be the data migration date Even I see the same date on all my cases. My understanding is that the date (4/7/04) is the date they migrated the data to the porfolio database. If there is no activity on you case you will see that date otherwise you will see the actual updated date...

    No EAD No Work As per this document http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/howdoi/faqeev.htm If you are not actually authorized to work, employment should be DISCONTINUED (alien employees who question the employer’s determination may be referred to an INS field office for assistance).
