Congrats !! .... A question to kon1
My rd is 12/2000. No word yet.
Just wondering if you had to redo FP ? I understand that FP is VALID for 15 months...
Sure I will....
Did u ever thought of approaching Senators\' office to expediate ur case, if that works out ?.... or may be u don\'t care !
Going by ur guestimate, may be I should jump off the wagon by the end of June \'02.
What about you ? where is ur file ?
I just called INS to get an update on my case.
I was told that my case was assigned to an officer on 5/16/02.
Any ideas how long it\'s taking for a decision to be made, going by the current trends !!! ?
Please post your comments (just to get a second opinion). A lawyer will be contacted as well.
Here is a case....
His labor was filed on 03/04/02 (NSC).
His H1-B (6 years) expires by end of May.
Does this mean he has to leave the country after H1 expires or are there are any options ...
There is a trick !
The ph # is 402-323-7830 for NSC.
Use the REDIAL feature in your phone.
The moment you get busy tone, you GOT to redial. Do NOT give even a second between the 2 events !
Try in the later afternoon. That time I guess your wait time (once you got the line) would be less...

Called INS to get status of my case.... today !
I was told that "my file has been ORDERED". I understand that each officer "orders" set of cases to work on .... a daily basis or weekly basis or whatever.
So the next...
Did anyone got his/her EAD renewed at Pittsburgh (INS office) recently ?
Any idea as to what documents to carry for EAD renewal.
I would appreciate your response.
Thanks
csx
