Any federal contractors who had their 485 applications approved?

Shouldn't it be advantageous to already have security clearance?

Going To Graduate School On Aos Pending Status

If you can't use AC21 and you leave your sponsoring employer before 485 approval, aren't you putting y our application at risk? I dont think your Univ can write any thing to USCIS to keep your application valid.

    EB2 B.com + MBA - @NSC - RFE/Approval/Denial?

My letter was nothing really special. I got it from the head of my department. It was not addressed to anyone in particular but "To Whom It May Concern". It started with a couple of lines about who that letter was about and, when and for how long I was a student at that dept. Then it went on...

    EB2 B.com + MBA - @NSC - RFE/Approval/Denial?

I had a similar case (BBA + MS Finance). Filed under EB2 PP and got a denial within a week. NSC does not normally accept 3-yr Bachelors degree as being equivalent to US Bachelors. Most people with such cases get RFE but a few like me (especially who file under EB2) get denial straight away...

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

To add to the above question, is there any ANY way to recapture my old PD? I was promoted recently and my lawyer says that he can argue that my new job duties are different and he can ask NSC to port my old PD. I find it hard to believe as from what I have read, a PD can not be recaptured for...

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

I have had my I-140 denied with PD of June 2002. I have a 3 yrs bachelors and 2 yr Masters from India. I filed MOTR in December 2006 with Sheila's evaluation and a couple other evaluations to show that I have degrees equal to US Masters. I haven't heard back on MOTR so I am assuming that NSC...

Here is the posting I was referring to. Maybe you meant success in RFEs only but on first read it seemed like you were saying that Shiela had success with denials as well.

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

In one of your postings, you implied that Sheila has had success at NSC in appeals but here you are asking to forget about getting approved once case goes to AAO. Which of these statements is accurate? I am not trying to pick on you, just trying to get some information so as to help me make my...

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

We never had any intention of combining degrees. It was that stupid evaluator who sort of did a combined evaluation of my Bachelors and Masters to equate it to US Masters. I brought it up with my lawyer that evaluation stated that I had Bachelors and Masters degree which was equal to a US...

I am sorry I didn't quite understand it. Are you saying that I should get a new labor certified under EB3 and then use priority date from my old labor? Can it be done? Regarding my current labor application, it simply states MS degree under educational requirement and then in the next...

anilt75 Can you comment on my case please? I am getting depressed day by day reading more about this issue. Seems like I do not have a way out. I would hate to do that but if I had to start all over, what do I need to do (other than doing another 4 year Bachelors :-) ) to get my i-140...

My labor requires an MS degree - no mention of experience or combination. Is it still possible to do it in EB3?

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

Does this mean that if PERM application states that Masters degree with 3 years Bachelors is acceptable, then I-140 can be approved under EB2?

Is MOTR similar to appeal? From what I have heard, appeal process takes long time. Is MOTR better than refiling? Thanks.

3 years degree EB3, 140 at NSC - please advice

I-140 denied, what to do? I have a 3 year Bachelors and 2 year Masters degree from India. My labor was approved by PBEC after almost 5 years of painful wait. When we were ready to file I-140, I read here that people with 3 year degrees have problems. My lawyer was confident that I would not...
