Warlord is correct! From the time I filed my application until I took the oath, the automated system was never able to retrieve my case number.

The attire on the day of the interview and oath was anywhere from jeans to business suit and tie. Women from jeans to dresses. Good luck! Enjoy it and be prepared for a long day if your interview is in the morning.

I was naturalized last week and the officer, during the ceremony, made it absolutely clear that the US does not recognize joint nationality. Yes, you will still keep your Canadian passport but when you leave/enter the US, you must use your US passport.

Interview done I had my interview and oath this week in Charlotte. The interview went smoothly and the questions were straightforward. The oath ceremony was heart-warming and the presenter was a real character and had us all laughing and crying. I did find out that there is an oath ceremony...

I got the same message that was the message I got the whole time during the process. My timeline: DO Charlotte PD 10/24/06 FP 11/16/06 ID 4/12/17 so don't worry about it, if you have had FP etc - you need to wait it out.

don't give up my girlfriend applied in April 2006 and was interviewed on 1/4/7 and took the oath the same day. she said that the interview officer had her original green card application file from 30+ years ago....
