Hi, Binder, I am going through the same thing like yours..Dun know if you still come back to this site surfing.
We made the wrong decision not putting my husband's together on my I485. Then all of sudden, I got approved. Right now the lawyer is doing his AOS but I wonder how long...
Thank you for your quick response, TheRealCanadian. I am not sure if I should post it here but I have another question -
My company is not going to pay me prevailing wage even they signed on the employment letter. Will this cause me any problem in future? Or this can be my good reason to quit...
Can I quit the job before derviative got approved? I've been working in that company for 8 years already (thanks for turtle-slow LC / RIR process). With PD August 2001, I just got approved this May but spouse not clear yet. He just got the fingerprint...Can I quit the job now? I think 8 years is...
Ginnu...need your help and advice...
My I-485 approved on 5/08/2007 with PD 8/2001, EB2 non-retrogression country. Filed my husband AOS the same day of my approval. It's all because my approval came too faster (04/07 got my I-140 approved) and we didn't have enough time to do his medical yet...
My lawyer sent it wrong to CSC which it supposed to go to TSC . I got rejected letter and re-done it over again to TSC. This happened in end of April this year.
Yes, my husband is here when we file "FTJ" for him. I asked my lawyer twice is this call "FTJ", he said yes. Anyway, I was kind of released it's not family base when I heard him saying "FTJ".
Update -
Got my husband's fingerprint notice (code 3) today:-) They accepted our FTJ case..happy.
Here is the timeline to share with everyone:
Primary approval (EB2) 05/11/2007

I am in the same boat but here is the good news. I added my spouse FTJ after my approval. Now we just receive his fingerprint notice which hopefully means USCIS accepted this case.
The only different is that I am EB2 from non-retrogression country. We didn't submit togehter cos our own reason...
Here is what happened. My lawyer ensures me there won't be any problem to file my husband after my approval based on EB2/RIR. She did AOS (FTJ) for him but not I-824 since he is already here with valid H1B. It was sent to TX service center where my case got approved. Regular waiting time is...
Thank you very much. What a release after reading your post. Now I have strong info to challenge my lawyer when I met her tomorrow. We married even before I filed my LC so I think this should be strong case not to put my husband in FB-2A but instead using my approved I-485 / Priority Date...
I am lucky to get my 485 approved within two months of my I-140 approval...but I am unlucky that I didn't have time to apply for my husband before 485 approval... What should I do??? Can not use FTJ cos he is here holding H1...who can help??? I don't want him to go through F2A....another 5 years...
Please help. I am search the site but got little confused. Can or can't I apply my husband FTJ since he is already here holding H1b?
FTJ is for those spouses currently not in US. How about those who are in here already holding valid non-immigration visa?
Need help urgent. I applied I-140/485 concurrent on Jan 16, 07. That time I did not submit for my husband because my lawyer told me there was 99% of chance the case would got rejected due to the ability to pay issue. My company had negative number on their tax return / balance sheet since they...
d. Ability to pay needs to be proven at 2 points in the process. When the LC was filed and when the I-140 is getting approved. (Not from the date of LC filing to the date of I-140 approval.)[/INDENT]
My lawyer says company needs to proof the ability to pay from PD till I-140 filed /...
