I checked the other posts. they are all for 140s and not 485s. That's the reason why I was confused. any info would be of help. Also my case was transferred to NSC. I dont know if this makes any difference.

Any responses?anyone else has the same status on the I485? thanks

My 485 status has been reading this since oct2007. It was transferred to NSC. Current Status: This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it I also had my FP taken in Jan.. I am confused what does this mean? Thanks

My 485 status changed to this message a while back. Have not heard anything since. I spoke to my lawyer and all he said was that if they case is pending processing or waiting to be assigned this is what it may read. Nothing changed on my 140.

Well you would need $109 or $110 for the Visa Application fees to be paid at banamex and then $50 for the visa fees. $20 or so for cabs and then the rest is upto you as to how much you want to take. dc_S

If you are driving there go down the 805S or 5S and take the exit that says last exit in the US and there are lots of parking lots around there and from the parking lot you could walk to the border. I dont know of any agents.. I followed kool_maverick's post for my travel

my case was H1 revalidation. It was not on pending GC I saw a couple extending for their 8th-9th yr they had no issues. The VO asked only 2 questions a) how long I worked at this company b) can I see ur recent pay stubs then she said ur visa has been approved.

I had a successful H1B stamping in Tijuana MX on August 22nd. Had no issues at all. Followed what most of the guys on the fourm have been saying. Thanks for all the help guys. I will answer the questions that I may get most: I did not have a Mexican permit/Visa..I think you need to get one...
