So once you get or your lawyer gets the Fed Ex receipt back from the INS... you can in theory start working for them... can your application still be rejected ? or is the normal that it is accepted...

Want to transfer to a new company. Have H1B. When lawyer sends off paperwork when can I start working for new company ? How longs does it usually take after the lawyer sends paperwork in ? Can I speed the process up at all ?

I might be marrying my american girlfriend and I wondered with the current climate that I should push that along. I have heard that I get an interim visa that allows me to work anywhere (but I believe that takes 3 months to get to you)? Am I correct and then after 2 years you get the interview...
