Got LUD on Jan1 and Jan3. But I think a lot of folks had LUDs on those days. It was approved on Jan 18 and no LUDs between then and today. Only after getting message, the LUD changed. So things happen without LUD change I guess.

I received RFE about birth certificate with my parents names. While checking this, I noticed that my mother's birth date is wrong as 1st instead of 18th of month. What is the procedure to correct it now? Will this delay the process ? My spouse got approval and my case got RFE.

Finally for the email messsage yesterday that card is approved. So the card will probably arrive in a week or so. No mail yet for the RFE for the dep. case.

Is the RFE notice sent to the applicant or the lawyer? Is there any way of calling and finding out what it is about?

No idea what the RFE was about. How long does it take to receive the RFE? Even I am looking to find out how long we have to respond. What kind of RFE's do they have for dep's case?

The namechk for the primary cleared in a couple of days of applying. For the dep, it was pending, till 2 months back. So probably cleared in 4-6 months since applying.

initially even we thought our case went to district office because it said Lincoln, NE instead of NSC. Then we called multiple times to clarify that. You probably want to call NSC and see if your case is there and also take an infopass to confirm it.

Hi katewill, you are right. We filed 140 first and then sent 485. They should have kept the 485 in the same center as 140, but they sent it to the wrong center. Then later when they realized it, the sent it back.

How do you do a case enquiry? I am having a hard time getting any status even after infopass and several calls. Sorry I dont have any answers for your question.
